Thanks for reading. I think that white people are accustomed to being able to say whatever they want to Black people and other persons of the global majority, because of our global system of white dominance. If white people are too afraid to approach a Black person for fear of saying the wrong thing, that is a bad thing for them, not for me.

Imagine telling women to be ‘nice’ to sexual abusers or to ignore sexual harassment because other men might get afraid to approach women at all. That’s absurd. I’m not here to accommodate those who would willfully oppress and dominate me. If a white person has a level of allyship that is so fragile it crumbles under any hint of accountability, they aren’t much of an ally!
