I 1000% agree with you about non-black POC as well. Grapevine ran a really interesting episode a few weeks ago about the relationship between Black communities and Asian communities within the US. It’s on YouTube you should definitely check it out.

Persons who identify as mixed do this a lot too. I want to be clearthat I’m talking about people who actually identify as mixed, not mixed people who identify culturally as Black. Although, some are problematic as well.

There’s so many layers to this! As a cisgender woman, I know we have some gathering to do ‘in community' as well so that we can start showing up better for our trans siblings.

Basically we all need to be aware of whose kitchen we are in and be humble enough to do that sous chef work!
