I was in Scotland last year and I went on a date with this British Ghanaian. We met up at a restaurant and as I was walking up the high street he said my name. I was too far away for him to see my face so I couldn't figure out how he knew it was me.
Later he told me that I look like an American. He said I walk like an American, he said I dress like an American. He said in a room full of black girls, he would still recognize me as the American.
It wasn't a compliment! 🤣🤣
