This is so raw and real and I am here for it! I lost my mom unexpectedly as well, no one who hasn't experienced it can ever really understand.
The stages of grief are nonlinear. It's 16 years later and I sometimes still wake up with that numbness, sometimes sadness, sometimes rage. Thank you for sharing this, I know it couldn't have been easy to write.
